THE LIGHTNING BUG

Lightning bug.png

As children we used to collect lightning bugs and put them in a glass jar, making sure there were holes in the lid of the jar. We enjoyed the flashes of light they emitted.

We put many bugs in the jar. As the ideas on how to sing became more numerous, we have too many bugs in the jar. When we combine the number of ideas as one thought, there is only one bug in our body. The words and the sound combine. Now the light stays lit and the sound comes out the top of the jar.

Problem! The light of the lightning bug keeps going off and on. In ourselves, the light is the brain.

Remain AWARE. Our job is to allow the light to stay on as the mind has an old habit of thinking and turning the light off.

We turn the light off when we interfere with our mind.

OUR WORK:

ALWAYS STAY LIT!
