THE FIREPLACE

Fireplaces were a necessity in the past. They are now comforting additions to our houses. It gives us a feeling of HOME, and warms us physically the psychologically. We relax and enjoy.

When first lighting the logs, the flames blaze higher and higher until all the logs are burning. Little by little the flames die down, and we are now feeling the glowing embers emitting HEAT WAVES. No longer does the heat go up the chimney, but starts RADIATING warmth into the room.

If the voice is making sounds that go up the chimney, the air is pushing the sound UP AND OUT of the mouth. This is SMOKE. Stay connected to the diaphragm below and a minimum of MOVING air will keep the sound warm and bright, in touch with the fire below. SQUILLO.

RELAX THE BODY - NO SMOKE UP THE CHIMNEY!
