Where has the fire that used to burn so brightly in the belly of the singer gone?

We are now in an era when we are told to hold our bodies so tightly that the natural body cannot do its job. Acoustical singing seems to be out of date. Why? Simply because we are told that control of the voice must be produced by the conscious mind -- brawn instead of brain. No imagination. Information must lead to transformation.

The voice is not an object to be controlled, but offers us the opportunity to open ourselves up and become one with our true sound. The work is to get in touch with that fire in the belly.
