By its very name - art is artificial. Art's purpose was to take us out of our everyday lives and away from things that are troubling us. It was a vehicle to lift us out of the mediocre things we contend with every day. This release feeds our souls and opens our hearts.

Art was meant to offer us something outside ourselves - much more than enjoying a spectacle and having a good time. When we lose the magic that art can offer us we are being denied the very thing it was designed to do.

Entertainment is one thing.  Art is another.  Enjoy both.

Just know the difference.
